LONDON GROVE >> Return to the farm this weekend.
Avon Grove Charter School is holding its second annual “Barnyard Bingo” on Saturday, April 29, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. It’s on rain or shine.
Get a taste of rural life with animals, plants and home crafts.
Even bigger than last year, it will include food trucks, sheep shearing, looming and spinning, kids’ games, face painting and kiss a critter booth.
The center piece of this enjoyable day will be the cowplop bingo, after which the winner will receive a big cash prize.
Don’t miss the bull riding either. See how long you can stay on that mechanical animal.
The students will also be selling plants including herbs, and visitors will be able to tour the greenhouse.
All this with music playing.
Bring you little ones. They can come face-to-face with the farm animals.
The Avon Grove Charter School is at 110 State Road, just down the street from Avon Grove High School.
Admission is free.
